"The original is a section from a ruled notepad cover which I cut and scanned. I was initially drawn to the gradient and then the creases, as they show signs of use. I decided to include one of the punched out holes because it is a subtle nod to the origins of the piece. Crop marks because of an in-process pause - now a key part of the image."
Never too trivial to be beautiful, 'Curious Ephemera' is a series of prints which dips in to a hand picked collection of works from Miles' archive. The unseen works are typically bi-products of bigger projects, found objects, or work once considered too personal to share - with some dating back 10+ years.
